Samsung Galaxy S9 To Feature Three Edge Infinity Display

Although fans are still figuring out all the features of Samsung Galaxy S8, which was launched just a couple of days ago, speculations regarding its successor, Samsung Galaxy S9,are already doing rounds over internet. If latest rumors are to be believed,Samsung Galaxy S9 will feature a three-edge Infinity display clubbed with 4K resolution.

The screen of the upcoming flagship of Samsung is going to be curved on three sides, including the top. The bottom bezel will be present and will sport the logo of the brand. One brilliant feature of the model is that beneath the display glass, the earpiece has been somehow integrated. With an incredibly thin body, Galaxy S9 will have a fingerprint sensor which will be embedded under the display.

The device has been designed by Sunny Gandhi, who has stated that the inspiration behind the concept design is from Xiaomi’s Mi Mix. The primary camera and other sensors have been placed at the lower front.

Probably the feature that has gadget freaks talking about is the model featuring a “Super Capacitor”battery which can be fully charged within two minutes.

Speaking of the storage capacity, its being rumored that the device will either come with 6GB RAM or8GB RAM, along with an in-built storage of 256GB. Powered by Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 9XX processor, Galaxy S9 will come with an upgraded and more effective Bixby 2.0.

As far as Samsung Galaxy S9 Release Date is concerned, it is expected the South Korean multinational conglomerate will launch two variants of the model next year. One variant will run on Qualcomm’s Snap dragon processor, while the other will be powered by the company’s in-house Exynos chip set.

It has also been reported that Qualcomm and Samsung have already begun working on the next-gen Snapdragon 845 processor, as it plans to integrate it into its upcoming flagship. Usually, Samsung launches its Galaxy S devices at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) during spring every year, and begins the sale a couple of weeks later. If tradition is followed, then we can hope that Galaxy S9 will be unveiled at MWC event in Barcelona in 2018

Plans for a dual-camera system are also being speculated in the device, which has been popularized by iPhone 7 Plus and LG G6. It will also have a dual tone LED flash for capturing photos in low light. The dual camera will be of 21 megapixels, while the front secondary camera will be of 8 megapixels along with a single flash.

Galaxy S9 will feature a 5.5-inch display with quad HD display with a resolution of 2560*1440.  The 3D touch technology, which has been seen in iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S, may also be featured in Galaxy S9.

Coming to display protection, the device is speculated to come with Gorilla Glass 4 or 5. It may also implement iris scanner, which basically means that it would as an extra later of its device for the security action.

So, it looks like Samsung Galaxy S9 is going to even surpass the performance of its predecessor Galaxy S8, which has also been doing extremely good in the market since its release a couple of weeks ago.
